    What is this?

    This is just some extra stuff that I feel is cool or useful to mention. Half of the reason is to just show off photos I’ve taken.

    Writing Sensitivity/ Sensitive Subjects:

    While I try to do plenty of research and talk to people about things like disability, racism, etc I can only do and know so much. If anything I write falls into harmful stereotypes or rhetoric feel free to contact me. Either through the contact page here or any of my socials.

    I strive to make my writing and online communities as accepting and safe as possible. Regardless of race, gender, sexuality or disability.

    I am on a few social media platforms mostly under the username “JustRemaker”.
    Bluesky is currently my most active platform and I do tend to lurk there.

    Why Fantasy?

    Because Fantasy is cool, so much of the media I’ve consumed is fantasy. I really enjoy being able to make up medieval-esque worlds and systems. I play dnd and read a lot of urban fantasy when I was younger.

    What do I read:

    That’s between me and god, but mostly books I steal from my sister or find cool stuff on audible. But I do buy physical copies of a few books each year, once I have more space I will have shelves of the stuff.

    On a serious note though I do tend toward New Adult/Young Adult speculative fiction. Predominantly fantasy whether that be urban, dark, or cozy. Anything with good queer representation tends to draw me in just because I want to see that.

    I am a big fan of C.M Alongi and Jaysea Lynn both for their written and visual mediums. Both of their stories are incredibly investing and bring a lot of comfort to me.

    Personal experiences and how they shape my writing:

    As a queer and non-binary person I write some stuff from a more personal place having dealt with hate and bullying based on who I am. While most of my writing currently doesn’t explore the intricacies of homophobia or transphobia as I prefer to focus on joy rather than hate. I do have stories and plot lines that I intend on writing that include such topics.

    As stated in my about a majority of my stories will include and feature LGBTQ+ characters whether that is clearly stated or not.

    Current WIP:

    Currently I am working on a story I’m referring to as “Witches Apprentice”. It is a story I found the plot points for in a google drive I forgot existed and hadn’t touched since I was 14.

    I started working on it in July with a way better plot (Seriously 14 year old me thought about 5 notes and some eye colours was enough.)

    Previous Writing:

    Outside of what is on this website most of my previous works have been written as fan work or short original stories posted to wattpad. Almost all of which were deleted out of embarrassment without any backups. As funny as it would have been to look back on.

    The story currently titled “Castle Of Glass” was originally set with a different protagonist as a wattpad story. I posted twice daily with 200-300 word chapters. Like a true author. It was also a lot more morbid.

    There is also a decent amount of funny 2-3 minute scripts I’ve written for youtube videos and a several year long minecraft roleplay phase that I would still endorse.
